Etch Tech take their quality and environmental obligations very seriously. In addition to maintaining the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, the following published statements encompass our attitude towards the current legislation.

R.E.A.C.H Regulation Policy

Etch Tech is aware of the current requirements of REACH and takes compliance very seriously.
Etch Tech Ltd supply only finished goods and do not supply customers with chemical substances or preparations as part of their business. Therefore there are no substances to be pre-registered on behalf of any of their customers.

Etch Tech do not manufacture or import chemical substances or preparations and as such have no registration obligation under the REACH directive.

We are aware suppliers cannot sell to us if they have not Pre-registered their chemicals under REACH. We help our suppliers in every way possible to understand the use of the chemicals and preparations in our manufacturing processes and seek confirmation that the chemicals have all been registered.

RoHS Policy

Under the RoHS directive certain metals and finishes are restricted in their use, these include:

Lead
Mercury
Cadmium
Hexavalent Chromium
Polybrominated Biphenyls
Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers

Being a component manufacturer Etch Tech ensures your components comply with the directive in every respect. We offer a full range of compliant metals and finishes to ensure you are able to guarantee of conformity to the directive.

Environmental Policy

Although Etch Tech does not claim to have no impact on our environment, the policy we have adopted is designed and planned to have as small as possible effect on both our local and the global environment. Our policy is not just another piece of paper. We will continue both as a company and as individuals to monitor and review our emissions and wastage. When appropriate the Etch Tech environmental policy will be amended to reflect our continued commitment to keep our impact on the environment to an absolute minimum.
